If you are a Karshare renter, you are already a good driver. However, there are times where even the best of us make mistakes.

Usually, we will not know if we have been fined or charged by an authority until after the fact. This means that it is usually reported to us by the Owners of the cars.

When they report these to us, we simply match the time of the incident to the time of bookings and can determine if it was you or the Owner who was at fault.

If it was your fault, don't worry. We will be in touch to rectify the situation.

If you wish to challenge any fine or charge related to your booking, you must notify us within 72 hours of receiving the fine or charge.

Speeding tickets

If you are caught speeding, you may need to pay a fine and take some penalty points on your licence.

Penalty Charge Notices

PCNs must be reported by the Owners promptly.

We will allow you to challenge the PCN if you wish to. If you are successful in your challenge there will be no fine to pay.

If you are unsuccessful in your challenge, we will pay the fine and charge the amount to your card. This will stop payment rising if you forget to pay.

Private Parking Fines

As well as local authority parking charges (covered by PCN), you could also be fined for parking illegally in a privately operated car park.

We will allow you to challenge the Private Parking Fine if you wish to. If you are successful in your challenge there will be no fine to pay.

If you are unsuccessful in your challenge, we will pay the fine and charge the amount to your card. This will stop payment rising if you forget to pay.
