As a renter or an owner, you can cancel your booking at any time through Karshare's website or app.
Owner cancellations
It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that they honour all rental bookings made. However, Karshare accepts there will be times when an owner needs to cancel a booking. The cancellation fee varies depending on how close the cancellation is to the booking start time.

Renter Cancellations
If you need to cancel your rental, please do so with as much notice as possible, so that the owner has enough time to take a new booking.
The cancellation fee and grace period varies dependent on how close the cancellation is to the booking start time. Please see table below for breakdown.

Renter no show
Renters that fail to turn up for their booking will be charged 100% of the booking value.
Karshare cancellations
A rental maybe cancelled by Karshare for a number of reasons which may relate to the eligibility of the renter or issues between our app and the vehicle not working together. When a rental is cancelled by Karshare there is no pay out to the owner.
