What is expected from you
Renters are expected to return the vehicle in the same clean condition. If the vehicle requires a clean the actual cost will be charged (a minimum of £5) plus a £10 admin fee to cover the time of organising the clean and liaising with the owner.
The cost of the clean will vary according to the condition the vehicle is returned and below are some examples of indicative charges:

CLEANING: The Owner shall provide a clean vehicle and the Renter should return in the same condition as picked up. If the vehicle requires a clean the actual cost will be charged to the renter at a minimum cost of £5 + £10 Admin Fee * Please note a vehicle does not require a clean where there is a small amount of dirt/dust on the body of the vehicle that can be easily wiped off, or where there is minimal dirt, dust or rubbish inside the vehicle which can’t be wiped clean or easily removed from the vehicle. |

The Business will be the final arbiter on the size of vehicle and state of cleanliness.

Smoking policy
Any reports of smoking would need to be supported with clear and sufficient evidence in order for us to accept the claim and charge the renter.
*** Clear evidence of smoking in the vehicle, e.g., ash, cigarette buts, tobacco, or burns in upholstery. Note: it is the owner’s responsibility to prove this occurred during a rental for us to accept the claim. ***
The smell of smoke will not be accepted and the claim will be closed.

We retain the right to refuse any clean claim entered if we feel the evidence provided does not meet the requirements needed to authorise the claim.
